Ambassadors Club – Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce – Camden – South Carolina

The Ambassadors Club

The Ambassadors Club is an important extension of the Chamber of Commerce. Our ambassadors reach out to the community calling on all members at least once each year. They provide the chamber staff with needed input and feedback from our investor members.

The Visitors Center is manned by Ambassadors Club members each Saturday and Sunday. This makes it possible for our Visitors Center to be open and available to our community seven days a week. Ambassadors serve as many visitors’ first contact with Kershaw County and citizens.

Ambassadors Club Responsibilities

  • To promote the mission of the Chamber
  • “The mission of the Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center is to provide the Kershaw County business community with the leadership needed to foster an economic and political climate favorable to all business, In order to create a higher quality of life for all Kershaw County residents and our visitors.”
  • To attend bi-monthly meetings, as scheduled by the chair
  • To serve as ambassadors and visit all Chamber members at least once each year
  • To assist the Chamber Board of Directors and staff in the recruitment of new Chamber members
  • To follow up with members who have failed to renew their membership and report findings to the Board of Directors
  • To support and attend Chamber social functions ( Business-After-Hours, Golf Tournaments, Legislative Luncheons, New Member Ribbon Cuttings, Annual Meetings, Eggs & Issues Breakfasts, Administrative Assistants Day Luncheon, etc.)
  • To assist with staffing the Visitors Center on weekends
  • To assist the Board of Directors with special projects, as needed

Become a Member

The Ambassadors Club is open to new members at any time. Our goal is to increase the membership every year to ensure that the Visitors Center is open to our visitors EVERY weekend, excluding holidays.
