Join the Chamber of Commerce – Camden – Kershaw County – South Carolina
Dear Kershaw County Professional:
Kershaw County's business climate is our most important concern. We work every day to protect it for you and our citizens. We want to ensure a high quality of life for our residents, and we need your support to face new challenges in accomplishing our mission.
The Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center represents the business community before our city and county councils. We turn the needs and concerns of the business community into initiatives that work for you. We promote and help develop a business climate that allows you to operate in a cost effective manner and be more competitive.
The business community of Kershaw County must speak with one voice. We must stand together to lower the cost of doing business, fight tax increases and ensure our good business climate gets even better! The Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce is the voice of business in this county! We will continue to do everything our resources permit to support you and your business.
We are also the relocation and tourism center for the county. We are often the first stop for many people when they come into the county. Our referrals help businesses develop new contacts and opportunities.
Our success depends on a strong membership. We need your backing to remain an effective voice. Please, take time to review our information, and please do not hesitate to call me if you have any questions. We promise you that we will use your Chamber of Commerce investment dollars to make Kershaw County a better place for you to live, work and play.
Sincerely,
Executive Director

Membership Opportunities
We have lots of great things happening at your Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center. The best way to make new customers and friends is to get involved:
- Ambassadors Club: This club's function is to support the members of the chamber. Ambassadors visit and survey members during the year and assist the chamber staff in servicing their needs. Ambassadors are our official greeters at social gatherings.
- Kershaw County Christmas Parade Committee: This creative committee has been around a very long time and always proves to be very rewarding. The group meets around the first of October for a planning session, then meets on a need be basis until the week prior to the parade. Please contact Elizabeth Cox at the chamber office.
- Junior Leadership Kershaw County: Local high school students are taken out of the classroom and into the community to educate them about the area, government, the past, the present, and the future. This program is a partnership between the Chamber of Commerce, the Kershaw County School District and Camden Military Academy.
- Farm City Week: This committee plans the events for this important nationally recognized week. The week is designed to highlight the role of agriculture in Kershaw County's economy and forge a closer bond between our businesses and farming communities
