The Camden-Lugoff Area Shag Society (CLASS) hosts their big “Shag Blast” each year for CLASS members, as well as first time shaggers. The event features lessons for beginners and a whole lot of dancing for lovers of beach music. Usually there is a DJ, as well as live music. Check the Calendar of Events for more information.
Several restaurants in the community feature live music and a little karaoke for their customers. Our parades, The Elgin Catfish Stomp and the Bethune Chicken Strut all feature a wide range of music.
